Yes, it's lovely to see some spring-like weather at last, even though the warmth of the sunshine here has been knocked back quite a bit by some northerly winds.

okay, 5/7 - can't believe i got the golf question wrong

5/10 - began very poorly but some good guesses did the trick

Despite the fact that geography was my worst ever subject at school - and i haven't improved in the intervening years - i did click on to it in order to attempt to answer a few.
However, when i was asked to say which countries were neighbours with other countries, i immediately changed my mind.

Chris, my knowledge of geographical neighbours is sooooooooooooo limited. I know that England has Wales and Scotland as neighbours, and i believe that Canada and America are neighbours. and that's about it.
But, just to prove i'm no coward, geographically speaking, of course, i took the quiz and astounded myself by getting 3/7 - 2 of which were complete guesses. So, thmuuuurrrr :-)

I met my old geography teacher n a pub a few years ago. I was about to tell him why I gave up Geography at the end of my 3rd Form studies when he said, "Don't bother. I know already. You gave up the subject because you couldn't draw the maps. That's what EVERYONE says!"

Hi again, Ken. Thanks for giving the geography quiz a go. You remind me of the (many) people who've arranged accommodation in the Dominican Republic but booked flights to Dominica, or vice versa ;-)

My geography is so good that a few years ago I arranged travel insurance for a trip to Mexico but I put Morocco on the form - as it happened I didn't need it...fortunately.
