Good evening, all!

Actually, as I’m typing this, I should possibly be writing “Good morning, all”, as it’s 3am and I’m drafting my post for later on today. I’m hoping that by trying the quizzes at a different time of day/night (and with a nice glass of Primitivo by my side to help me) I might do a bit better than usual!

So here goes . . .

Nope, not a lot of difference for me on the main quiz, it seems! Just my usual THREE out of seven:

. . . and, as of 3am, this week’s junior quiz isn’t on the BBC Newsround website yet. (It’s still showing last week’s one). I’ll have to try again later.

Oh well, at least the wine is drinkable ;-)

Update at 6.25pm: Aunty Beeb has finally untwisted her knickers! It looks like the junior quiz went online at around breakfast-time this morning (which is much later than usual). So here goes . . .

I shouldn’t have bothered! Just TWO out of five for me this week :(

Thanks for allowing me to beat you this week, Haras2 ;-)

It's been wet and windy over this side of the country too but it looks like we'll get a bit of a respite over the next few days (before we get back to yet more rotten weather once again).

The Terrific (Terrible?) Trio are constantly stressing me out (especially when Chequers demands food at outrageous-o'clock in the morning) but I just end up loving them more than ever all the same.

I've still not decided exactly what treats they'll all be getting for their 10th birthdays next week but they won't be short of choice anyway, I feel sure!
