I have received my K9 Gtech and assembled it. There was some charge in it so I had a little go. When using it on my wooden floors, it was OK pushing it forward but seemed to drag as I pulled it back. Are you supposed to go only in one direction or have I not released something under the main unit?

Just tried ours (and even let Gness have a go) - it is quite happy going in either direction on hard floors and on carpet.

So long since I assembled ours I can't remember the process - perhaps another Gtech owner can help?

Yes, Barry. I did. Perhaps it will loosen up after a bit more use.
Thank you both anyway.
for some reason is there more suction when you pull it back rather than push it the bristles on the bottom go one way if you go the way theyre going then it will go easier when you pull it back in the opposite way of the bristles it would make sense to have more resistance

I think I understand that, Roadman. Thank you. :-)
I read a review which I annoyingly can't find now that it only picks up when you push it forwards, not when you pull it back. I don't know if that is correct or relevant, really
