How is it for you?

Personally I think its a budget of nothing, apart from the idioitc rise in Corporation tax (even if it is offset by reliefs)

No link, plenty easily available in your favourite rag.

I agree - it was the budget equivalent of beige.

Notwithstanding the cap ex relief, the 30% increase in Corporation Tax is nuts. How are we meant to entice inward investment when across the Irish Sea the rate is 12.5%?

I agree DD, the Irish are well on the ball IMHO.
It’s like they have given up winning next year’s General Election.
I was pleased with the pension savings cap removal.

Yes, that was a good move and well thought out for once.

Shame they lowered it from what labour wanted in the first place though. Darling had it at 1.8m. Must admit I had a sneaking admiration for Darling.

And thats sadly what will happen. Sir Kier wont win it the Tories will loose it. Just more of the same as the two parties are two cheeks of the same backside at the moment.
Designed to encourage retired doctors / surgeons to return to work, I believe but a side benefit to others as well.
'two cheeks of the same backside'

I'm going to nick that. I wonder who the ars.......... is?
Absolutely fine by me.
I haven't been interested enough to even look at it this time. The pension changes were on the news which I found odd as they only affected about 4% of people.

Any other bullet points I should be aware of? Probably not.
