Give my fan away over the weekend to keep my 9 month old grandaughter cool.
Bought one yesterday to replace and it was useless.
(Had my money back...cheap B&M rubbish!)
Borrowed a desk fan from work today (for tonight) but got to take it back tomorrow.
Everywhere sold out of fans ATM....

Just in case it helps you (or anyone else here), Nailit, I'll post a reminder than most (all?) fan heaters have a 'fan only' setting that allows people to use them instead of a 'proper' cooling fan. Many people seem to forget about that when they're sweltering and all of the shops in their area have sold out of fans.

I've been using a fan heater for that very purpose myself recently.
