This morning when I went into the bathroom I was amazed to find a brown medium size "SLUG" in the bath, "YUK" I've had spider's in the bath on many occasions but never a slug, my husband came to the rescue the thought of touching it even with toilet tissue made my toe's curl, we live in a bungalow so it didn't have far to slither up the outlet pipe.

Has anyone had the same yukky experience. X X X :-)

Not in the bathroom but one house we lived in we used to get them in the living room. Never did find out how they got in.
im glad i only have ashower in my flat then!! he he
Unlikely to have gone up the outlet pipe, would have needed to go through the water trap, I don't think it went in that way.

Hi RATTER15, do you think it's possible that it could have come up the plug hole like spider's do? X X X :-)
If you have a cat (assuming by your name you may have) or dog, they could have brought it in. My cat (and my long departed dog) will lie on them in the garden and bring them in attached to his fur. Bl**dy horrible slimy things (shivers in horror).
buy some slug pelits and throw them next door ,,,,all the slugs will sod off over there,,,let them deal with it....
Cat Woman, neither slugs or spiders could come up the plug hole, a portion of the waste pipe is filled with water to prevent any smells coming up the plug hole( its called a Trap) this will prevent any insect or other bug/creature coming up through the plug hole.
Remember a slug is just a homeless snail.

Hi, I'm just back in from work, the slug could have come in via by my cats fur after all my cats do eat worms yuk, yuk, yuk, and anything else that moves. Thank you for some very humous answers, my husband did dispose of it outside I just couldn't touch it, I would have done if it had been a snail. I will have to check the cats over when they come in from the garden in the future. Thanks again. X X X :-)
