I seem to remember a big red bus with this printed on the sides.

We send the EU £350 million per week
Lets fund our NHS instead

What has happened to the £350 million we have saved every week?

curious how nobody's answered the question, maggiebee, despite all the sound and fury.

Naomi 17.32 //Boris wasn’t in a position to promise anything - which is why he didn’t//

I rest my case.
"What has happened to the £350 million we have saved every week? " - well I don't know if you've noticed but there has been a teenzy weenzy bit of a crisis of late that has cost about half a trillion pounds.
Good choice. Your confusion is palpable.
to those of us that speak English as a first language it was not a pledge, it was a statement followed by a suggestion.
Naomi, glad to see you have reverted to type, get cornered, refuse to answer the question, then throw in an insult. Well, done!
TTT I speak perfectly good English, having been educated in one of the top girls boarding schools in the UK. I also speak fluent French as my mother tongue and two other languages I can get by in. I also have a degree in weeding out B sheet and not suffering fools, pomposity and fantasisers. LOL!
APG, I don't believe you have mis construed what was on the bus so I am not talking about you.
apg, I've thrown no insults. You are confused. At the time of the referendum, Boris was not the Prime Minister. Therefore he was in no position to promise anything - and he didn't.
the video I linked to was done in 2019 and Boris Johnson is addressed as Prime Minister' the text reads thus:

"Prime Minister Boris Johnson promises not to raise taxes, a reemerged video reveals. Back in November 2019, Mr Johnson told LBC: “Read my lips, we will not be raising taxes.”
The Labour party shared the clip of Mr Johnson pledging not to raise National Insurance ahead of the 2019 general election hours after he announced a 1.25 per cent National Insurance rise to rescue the NHS and pay for social care reforms. Following yesterday’s announcement, the prime minister told MPs he “accepted” the controversial social care reforms break manifesto pledges."
TTT Good -I'll take you off my list. (JOKE)
2019 wasn’t 2016. David Cameron was Prime Minister in 2016.
yes APG, I thought this was about the bus. Would you want a government that stuck to a manifesto regardless of circumstances? I wouldn't. When the facts change then views should change to adapt.
It's quite amusing that maggie, a fervent nationalist is highlighting financial points when no one in Scotland seems capable of answering any of the famous 10! PMSL!

"When the facts change then views should change to adapt."

Laugh of the day so far from the entrenched one. :-)
Naomi I think we are talking about two different sets of Boris Johnsons deceptions. I'm referring to his hike in Taxes , despite his promises not to, and the controversial social care reforms that break Tory manifesto pledges."
TTT //When the facts change then views should change to adapt.//

"Physician heal thyself" LoL!
that was from John Keynes, doug, not sure why it's amusing. Surely it's common sense.
I'm sure you're not sure, for sure.
"no one in Scotland seems capable of answering any of the famous 10! PMSL!"

Famous??????
