On just now - only celebrity I've heard of is Dom Littlewood.

I've heard both him and Greg Wallace saying elsewhere they get mistaken for each other - now's your chance to see them together and decide for yourselves!

Let me see …

Bald head? Check.

Irritating voice? Check.

Promoted way above skill set? Check.

To be avoided if at all possible? Check.

Yes, I can see how people would confuse the two of them.
I like Greg. He makes me laugh. I don’t know the other man.
I quite like Greg. I don't think he's anything like Dom.

I know who Phil is and I recognised Myles.

I enjoy Masterchef, celeb version or not, so I don't care if I know who they are.
I like Greg too, I found Dom a bit irritating this evening.
Dom is the gender balance for La Rippon, Somerville and the Irish one who get refunds of up to twelve pounds for disgruntled viewers on daytime telly ain't he?

Like a small, annoying bulldog.
He'd not last 5 minutes in my kitchen for sure.
I personally can't stand Greg. How a spivvie ex greengrocer from Putney can decide who is a masterchef God only knows. Cordon bleu and Novoeau Cuisine he ain't.He has the gift of the gab I suppose and ,as the saying goes, you can slide further on B.S. than on gravel.
You've got to get in the game to get anywhere,he did.
A greengrocer to Michelin starred restaurants. You don't get to host programmes like Masterchef unless you know your stuff!

What about Lloyd Grossman?
//A greengrocer to Michelin starred restaurants.//
I was under the impression his restaurants went bust. In any case I don't believe he would of been sweating his cobs off in the kitchen.
I would guess his expertise would be able to differentiate between a spring green and a cabbage.

In 2010, Wallace opened the restaurant Wallace & Co in the London district of Putney, where he served as one of the directors. In 2012, he opened Gregg's Bar & Grill in a joint venture with the Bermondsey Square Hotel in Bermondsey Square. In August 2013, it was reported that one of Wallace's companies, West Veg Limited, had folded, owing more than £500,000.[5] In 2014, both of his restaurants folded, with Wallace & Co owing suppliers £150,000.[citation needed]
You may have read Ummmm's reply wrongly.

//Greg was a greengrocer TO Michelin starred restaurants// thereby meeting folk in the know.

He failed as an owner then moved on.
Exactly, Mamy.
I don't think anyone is painting him as a paragon of virtue, I simply think he's right in the role.
He knows his food and clearly enjoys his food :-)
