Tenth Anniversary?

Our club was during 2010 and we are having anniversary celebrations next year but unsure what to put on our anniversary merchandise? 2010 - 2020? Is that right? Is that ten years? Or is that eleven years? The celebrations will go on all year at various events.

Should say 'formed' during 2010.

And 10 years will be 2020.

But what confused me was counting on my fingers starting in 2010 I could only get to 2019 without taking my socks off!

Started in 2010, so first anniversary would be in 2011, 5th anniversary in 2015, 10th anniversary in 2020.

If you’re having it this year it is the 10th event, not the 10th anniversary.
It that case you’d be best just saying “started in 2010”

2010 was 'Year 1' of the club's operations.

2020 will therefore be 'Year 11' of its operations.

However the gap between the two (which is really what matters) will be one of 10 years, so it's definitely '2010 - 2020' which needs to be on the merchandise.

I felt daft even asking, but having read the various replies perhaps its not just me who was confused!
