I had my first ‘bump’ yesterday. Wasn’t my fault apparently and I don’t see it as my fault, they hit me. Woman at the side of the road saw the whole thing. Kept asking if I was ok. All I could muster was tears and sorry I’m ok.

I’m ok, car is ok, albeit grey where she should be white.

Not something I’d like to experience again...EVER.

How so?
This thread could run and run if all the AB ladies report their bumps. (all caused by men, natch)
Or baldrics link could inform you that

"Will a Non-Fault Accident Affect My No Claims Bonus?
Following a non fault accident no claims bonus allowances will generally be lowered. Not as seriously as if you make an accident that is your fault claim car insurance firms will always levy much harsher penalties against your no claims bonus if he accident was your fault. It is important to note that following a non fault accident excess damages being paid by yourself out of your own pocket, will not prevent your no claims bonus from being damaged."
Spath - from your own link

Your insurance company will need to know about the accident for their information, even if you don’t claim through them.

Ye i agree, let them know even if you don't want to claim, always the best way. There is always the option not to claim.

Jeepers...I nip away and chaos ensues ROFL.

Details were exchanged.
It is nothing more than paint transfer. I know plenty about cars to be fair. OH has checked (was his old car) dad checked and even my neighbour have all had a look and are happy it’s nothing more serious.

I don’t plan on putting a claim in as I do not feel the need. Dad doesn’t see the need and he pays for it.

I can see everyone’s points but it’s my car it’s my insurance - you don’t need to be arguing over it. End of the day bumps happen. Nobody was hurt nobody argued it’s settled.

I love you all and have respect for you all but please cool your engines (sorry for the bad joke) Q x
Mine were Baldric - but none of them were acquired in a car. ;o)

I always had you down as a Classy Lady Naomi ;o)
Why did you call the twins Aston and Martin then, Naomi.
Since I bought a dashcam you`d be amazed how many pieces of bad driving it picks up - maybe I`ll do a youtube video or two.
