I have been given this instrument by family who know I am a keen walker. All I want to do is measure the miles I do. Can I set it up can I heck

Can anybody please explain how to set it up to measure the miles

Which one, there seem to be lots https://www.soleusrunning.com/pages/documentation looking at the manual for the first one it simply seems to be a matter of switching on the GPS, making sure it has found the satellites and then pressing start at the beginning of your walk and one of the data views will be distance http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0196/4616/files/GPS1-Manual.pdf?1658
