A good old TV wedding rarely goes to plan!!!

Have you ever been to a wedding or an event where it kicked off “soap style”?

Left at the altar? People objecting!? Bride rolling about the fountain fighting with the bit on the side etc!?

the last one I attended went perfectly, apart from the divorce two years later.
Not at an actual wedding however some of the receptions later !.

What a shame!... mabye!? Lol

I wonder if anyone has ever been all dolled up at a wedding to be sent home again like on TV!?

Groom rolling around in the cake etc x
Two weddings I've attended and the couples had been together for years beforehand...got married and split within months. Weird.
As a kid I went to a family weeding where there was no cake at the reception - or, to be more precise, there was a cake until my uncle got pished and was last seen walking down the road with it ;-)

I also attended my cousin's wedding reception where she'd just married a stockbroker. You might as well have placed a rope down the middle of the hall because our family (rough lot) all stayed on one side of the room, while his family (posh lot) all stayed on the other side. I don't think a single word passed between 'one of them' and 'one of us' during the entire function!
I went to a verrrrry posh do years ago...landed gentry wedding at a lovely old east lothian church..huge marquee for very swanky catered reception....liveried car parking for guests ..Tatler etc in to cover it.... VERY POSH... bride arrived in horse drawn carriage ahead of groom.....who had bu**ered off with the best man on the honeymoon....!!! we all trooped into the marquee and quaffed the champagne and canapés anyway....
Just one, the bride wanted to change her mind but carried on, the groom was caught in the act at the reception with the chief bridesmaid. There was a fight between the men on his side over whether to kick the poop out of him or not. The cake looked like three stacked circles of tinned salmon iced by a five year old, and one of the bridesmaids didn't like the dresses we were making so bought one in roughly the same colour that was better and more expensive than the bride's dress. I dealt with all this while my ex husband stride splitting up the opposing sides. It didn't last.
It is television and your standard wedding with no sparks would be boring to watch.

I know of one couple that had a video of their bedroom antics and would show it to those who were interested....would that be of interest to East Enders?
Like Ummm, I know of a couple who were together for years who married and split up a few months later. I have also been to weddings where the two sides don't mix, my own included!
My cousin had a fling with a man she met on her hen night. She went ahead with the wedding anyway. Soon after, they got divorced and she married the hen night man.
Many years ago a gang of us went to watch a work colleague's wedding, but the poor girl had to be kept driven round in her car because the groom hadn't turned up. Sadly, he never did turn up and she was driven away in tears, really awful. They never did get married.
I have never been to one like that thankfully.

Did they give you all a hoe at the family weeding Buenchico?
That's so sad, hereIam. The poor woman.
When I got married Mr Clover and I went together, so no chance of that humiliation.
