If the electricity pylon in the field over the back is going to explode...three times...as Dave is gazing out of the window....in a world of his own.....do not be standing behind him holding four of a set of six tea plates.......

Dave has a strong, deep voice....when startled he would put Brian Blessed to shame....not to mention the new to me sweary words......

I now have just the two of the set of six tea plates..... :-(

What happens, Woof....I saw a friend put a cup with a gold rim in the microwave.....fireworks!
I guess Melamine warps?
Smokes and stinks Gness.....leave it long enough and I am told it goes up in flames.
Melamine is plastic. No plastic!

Go to a charity shop and buy some English china. However, do avoid anything which is gold rimmed.

Question Author
Ael...have you ever been to a Greek evening? I went to one in Canada and I could not, for the life of me, smash the plates!

He is, Rowan....and I'm not precious about possessions...... :-)
Me neither, Dave broke a vase soon after moving in, he was really upset because he knew it was an old family thing... to the day he died he never found out I was upset about it... it's only stuff. Actually it was a really useful shape but he was more important.
Was at daughters yesterday, drinking tea and gazing out at windswept garden, my grandson, who I thought was upstairs, came up behind me and said "hi nanny". Daughter now has 1 less cup and tea all over the wall :-((
Can dave do my voicemail? Or can he ring clients when they haven't paid me? i'll give you 3%..
I do a very good "Brian Blessed" ... :+)
