I know cyclists have a rough deal out there on the roads with aggressive drivers all round and I feel sorry for them. But for goodness sake WHY does someone carry such a lethal weapon be it a cyclist or anyone at all?

This filth needs to be caught and probably put away in an institution.... However we know the softly softly approach by those who decree on the law on these fair isles.... Spose it depends who you are...your raison d'être and your birthright..cough cough. Whoever it is slam the door and don't let them see daylight again!

I agree with earlier comments this could have been a planned attack. Something had probably gone wrong between driver and cyclist earlier and the cyclist was 'hunting' the driver down.A s soon as the driver saw him he accelerated away and deliberately banged into the cyclist . When the cyclist started bashing the car with the knife ,the driver left the car and dashed away. Two other black lads then appeared and made towards the cyclist.
