If the DVR isn’t WiFi compatible, how will a WiFi booster (which is what I think you mean by 1 of them things) help?
Although the DVR does not have Wi-Fi connectivity, it does have a LAN connection to connect to a router (via cable). Once connected, you can then remotely access the dvr images etc via connection to your router.
Never used one but you mean one of these ? https://www.amazon.co.uk/slp/wifi-ethernet-adapter/o2srjzdas5tt9ju
Might do.
It's not a wi-fi booster that you need, it's a powerline adapter.

Look them up on Amazon (or similar) as there is a great variety of them with various speeds, pass-through mains socket, number of ethernet sockets etc.

that’s what i meant do you think they will work
I know nothing about your security camera but if your DVR has an ethernet input (as Hymie states) then it should do. I use powerline adapters to take the internet signal from my router in the hall to my desktop in a bedroom (because I prefer non-wifi for some usage) and it works perfectly.
Connect up, as been mentioned, to a powerline adapter...TP-Link is £25 argos for 2 plugs.
