I have seen a couple of TV progs which have shown some secret WW2 Cabinet War Rooms near a disused London Underground station. Are these rooms (or any similar stations) open to the public? I went to the underground WW2 Cabinet War Rooms near Parliament Square yesterday and it was enjoyable. T.I.A.

Cheers heathfield.

From reading the article, Down Street Station can be accessed with special permission from London Underground.

I contacted LT and they stopped all public access to the dis-used stations in 2000 for security and health and safety reasons! :o(
