Jonny-Joe......yes, you are right. Not quite sure ht there is now the need to change at Edgware Road, as there never used to be.
Mikey - It's because the Circle line is now a loop, Hammersmith, Paddington, round the old Circle back to Paddington then on to terminate at Edgware Road.
JJ....yes, I had forgotten that !
Yes if you get on an eastbound Circle Line Train at Paddington underground station Platform 1 you will be on a train that left Paddington mainline station Platform 16 about fifty minutes earlier. That train will have traveled all the way round the Circle Line to terminate at Edgware Road. There it will reverse and go back the other way passing through Paddington twice and eventually terminating at Hammersmith.
