Last week it was reported on the BBC that fertility in men has dropped by 47% in 50 years. At that rate we might all be gone in 100 years. Book your holidays early!

Actually, this has the potential to be a very serious point.

I was listening to Radio 4 some time ago, and it was posited that the downturn in men's fertility may be due to nearly 60 years of the birth control pill, leaching into water supplies.

the report didn't mention any samples from South America or a few other countries/continents tho.
Maybe it's just down to european lifestyle?
