I'm not entirely sure but I think its in Poland.

I now think they are ash trees in Wales.

I think that they are somewhere in Wiltshire or Gloucestershire but Wales rings a bell. Carcrash

try googling 'Ash dome by David Nash'.
There are some rather good photo's, if these are the trees.
