You get what you pay for!
The guy who runs that place is obviously good at getting publicity because he's only doing what lots of other shops (and market stallholders) have been doing for years. There used to be a similar shop (which traded for a couple of decades or so) in Colchester and there was another one in Bury St Edmunds. Further, many markets have stalls specialising in short-dated or over-date products.

He needs to check his product descriptions though. I emailed him earlier this evening to point out that the 'mushroom sauce' on his website is actually a Polish 'light roasting sauce' and doesn't contain any mushrooms.
