I always cook too much! Can you freeze mashed potatoes and cooked pasta?

I do and seems to come out ok...

yes its fine to do so, dont worry

Alway reheat your mash to a high temp , otherwise it wont taste as nice.

Sure. If you heat the mashed potatoes in the microwave and give them a stir they are still fine - my sister does it all the time.
