That's good Chip. I'm still waiting to see my first butterfly.
Loads of Bumble bees about today, as well. Great big things, just going about their business.
I too have seen loads of lovely big bumble bees Tilly.
They are lovely, HIA. The only butterflies I've seen so far have been the bright yellow ones. I don't know what they are called.
Stunning, I love butterflies.
Brimstone Tilly.

Not seen any 'Brimstones' yet but I know that they do normally make an early appearance, some will have you believe that they were the first butterflies to be named, due to the buttery yellow of their wings. Personally I don't go along with that, but its a nice story.

I too, have seen plenty of bumble bees around, large black ones mostly, they do love a bit of lungwort!
A brimstone is generally the first butterfly I see.
