Hi,


my friends dog as what looks like ezcema on her back and in her 'arm pit' areas, can anyone reccommend some creme or oitment that might help clear the problem.

Wash with Cidal soap, dry carefully by patting, then use a little Savlon cream on affected areas. Better than all the corticosteroids in the world!
It could be a number of things form ezcema to dermatitis,yeast
ect..

You should get her to a vet asap to do skin and blood tests.if nothing is done the problem will get worse.

Sorry - didn't see the word dog!!! There's a product called Atopica which is perfect for this - again not a steroid, and very effective. You need to ask your vet for it though.
Sounds like it could be flea allergy dermatitis, is the dog regularly de-flead? On some dogs it just takes one bite to set them off.
