Hello!

Apparently I have neglected you, unlike my waistline which I have been enhancing with all the seasonal treats.

Here's the previous issue: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Weight-Loss-and-Dieting/Question1520066.html

And the one before: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Weight-Loss-and-Dieting/Question1511988.html

Anyone in freefall for the festive period? I've upped the number of long distance runs I can do, but the desire of a little nibble and a hearty dinner will probably get the best of me until boxing day.

How about you?

THANK YOU THANK YOU Ed. We love our Christmas Edition!
Hello All

Isn't it great to be au jour!

Christmas isn't the time to be saying no to all the wonderful tradional treats and unless we all go mad I expect that we can manage quite well.
Cheers Ed.
I find my weight goes up over Xmas/New Year. I try not to go into freefall but not deny myself either. Usually back down again by August anyway.
Thank you . I am still on the seesaw at the moment . must put some juice in it and get moving .

Apparently, you have Charles Darwin and his invention of Evolution to blame for your Christmas pile on:

On a related, and disgusting note: https://aeon.co/essays/does-a-stomach-pump-for-weight-loss-fuel-the-obesity-stigma

Not for the faint of heart.
Discovery, Ed. The subject has many aspects and so I'd not put reasons for gaining weight down to any single cause. As for the "treatment", I don't think I could stomach that. Not even over Xmas/New Year !
Good morning all......short and sweet...I forgot! I'll do it tomorrow.
Well: in contrast to recent weeks I went up over the Tuesday/Wednesday 24 hours this week; by 1.4 lbs ?!?

Resulting in an overall weekly gain :-( of 1 lb.
We should call ourselves the Yoyo Club.
Not budged an ounce so I have just been shopping and bought a large cream cake . So disgusted I bought the largest one I could find .not eaten it yet but I will enjoy every bite . Like pastry on out side but sweeter I think and cream and jam in the middle .not a good example for a weight loss but must get it out of my system as its a few weeks now the same .
Ha ha Wendilla. I'll bet your weight doesn't stay the same after that cream cake!

Hi O_G, my use of "invention" was to suggest that naming a single cause would be a bit unreasonable. Interesting with salt though :)

I'm dropping again, which is nice.
I'm joining you Ed. The moaning begins 2 Jan.
Good morning all, hmmmm I'm paying for the cashews I ate on Saturday. The magic number on my scales has definitely disappeared.
Up !?!? 2lbs.
No, I've no real idea why :-(
Good morning despite having a large cream cake last week and slice of Xmas cake this week they must have been fighting with one another as I won and have lost a pound . Not a good example for a weight loss so won't repeat it .
Oh nuts I forgot again.......tomorrow......
Ho ho ho good morning all,

Down 2 pounds and don't deserve it but will be so careful now until everything goes mad at Christmas
So. That's where my 2 lbs came from !
