Hello!

Apparently I have neglected you, unlike my waistline which I have been enhancing with all the seasonal treats.

Here's the previous issue: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Weight-Loss-and-Dieting/Question1520066.html

And the one before: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Weight-Loss-and-Dieting/Question1511988.html

Anyone in freefall for the festive period? I've upped the number of long distance runs I can do, but the desire of a little nibble and a hearty dinner will probably get the best of me until boxing day.

How about you?

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. I forgot again......tomorrow......
Up another 1 lb !
Prior to Christmas, I need this like I need a hole in the head :-(
My sympathies OG.
Me too OG AND EXSTITCHER .I hang my head in shame . Should not have opened that tin of sweets .
Good morning all, ho ho ho I'm down so turkey stuffing here I come.

Oh wendella, what can I say.........it's Christmas, enjoy it. On Monday 2 January we will start trying hard again.

Good morning to those that are here during the holiday season. My present to myself was to go down one pound. It's been a steady small loss all week. I'll be over the moon if this keeps up.
Good for you, you are doing well. I shan't be near scales for weeks though. Maybe just as well this Xmas/New Year period.
Weeks OG ???
Yeah. Well things falling on Sundays means I won't be back until at least the 9th Jan. Saves driving hundreds of miles to return for a few days then back to where I was again. Happens when one's no longer living at town of one's origin and close friends & most family are still there.
pass
That sounds ominous !
I don't want a shock OG . I will be ok for next week I hope . Enjoy your break .
Good morning all and a very happy new year! I'm delighted to say that I'm the lowest I've been all year. I credit it to laziness. I just can't be bothered to make big lunches or dinners and I've given myself orders....no seconds....but fresh fruit for afters. It seems to be working.

I hope that you are returning with your usual positive outlook Wendilla and your deep look at the whys and wherefores OG. All the best for success in 2017.....Onwards and Downwards......

I hope the Ed doesn't forget us again hint hint!
I mean I'm the lowest I've been in the last 365 days.
Congrats x.
I'm still nowhere near scales this week, but the amount of sat fat and stuff I'm presently consuming suggests I'm in for a shock when I'm back in the normal routine.
Good morning all....woops naughty step for me and well deserved too. I guess now and then we just get tired of being "good" and that was me last week. I went on a bun rampage.......any type of bun would do. I went up the 2 lbs I recently lost........lovely memories though!
My son has just dropped his dog off for the day and I have given him a tin of chocolates . I wonder why ? So get the kettle on xstitcher at the naughty step .So hard to get back to normal healthy eating .OG .
Was first 'back to normal' day yesterday. Was at target and thought I'd make it, but became peckish right at the end and went over with a slice of bread & Marmite and a sugar free squash. I'll weigh myself in a short while but yesterday found I'd gone up just 0.2 lbs over the Xmas/New Year period: probably because I went up so much just beforehand that there was nowhere left to add further weight.
Turns out I've lost, over the last 24 hours, the 0.2 lbs I gained over Xmas.

So why do I feel so large and uncomfortable then ?
Oh ! Tell a lie (inadvertently). I lost 0.4 lbs so have started to correct the pre-Xmas rise already.
