Ooohhh, your brave Ratter! I'd avoid direct heat.
wash inside out on a cold wash - don't spin and dry flat after pulling into shape - at least that's what I'd do but then I'm not noted for my domesticity Ratter.
Perhaps hang it on a hanger and leave in a warm room?
wear something else? if you dry it too quickly I'm sure you will regret it.
Put it on a jumper drying rack near a radiator.
Cold wash Ratter, inside out, an preferably hang up to dry. It will shrink on the first wash and is better hung on a hanger to keep it's shape. Yo may struggle to get it dry for the morning though. If you iron it, again.,inside out. Moleskin trousers in winter for me. A fetching mustard colour to match up with my navy Harris tweed jacket.

Ok, I will try and dry it with some gentle heat from a warm room and hope for the best. Gulp!!
Wear something else tomorrow.

Cant wear anything else, big event!
Oh!
Cold hand wash. Lay flat on a towel, cover with another towel. Fold the towels in half if you can. Leave them in a warm, not hot, room overnight.

Well it's washed and had quick spin by accident, it's looking ok it's now hanging in a bedroom with a heater in it. I think i will be OK for Liverpool tomorrow :-)
