Look...don't make yourself look like a bigger plonker than you already do Geezer. I'm starting to feel embarrassed on your behalf!
You and your buddy JTT are the ones looking like a couple of *** tats, not me. Better go and have fag l0ve and calm down.
I don't smoke...

I'm not the one making myself look like an utter chump.
Too funny.

getting the alans in a brahms ummmm? standard stuff eh?
I've already pointed out where a reasonable person would have assumed that you had a Scooby-doo about whom you had posted about.

How was I supposed to know that you blindly pick items from the BBC website without having the sense to read them first?
Ched who? Is that association or rugby football?

:o)
I seem to have missed something here.

Who the hell is TGT?
and
Who the hell is JTT?

I know I dont venture into news much and undoubtedly will be told to "keep up", but would appreciate an explanation. Ta.
TGT = ToraGeezerTora.
I have a feeling I know what JTT stands for but I'll let Geezer explain......:o)
who the hell is Geezer?
Surely a trial is "going well" ...

... not necessarily if the accused looks like being convicted ...

But, rather, if the truth is being discovered.
Put the morals of the guy to one side and accept that this is how a lot of young men and women are in 2016. Having read the original trial reports and the current trial so far, which is virtually the same, I just do not see this as rape. Tawdry yes, immoral maybe, but needing to go to prison for years and years - no way.

No need for any trial then, sheesh...
Paul

Put the morals of the guy to one side.......

Then you proceed to outline what you view are the morals of a whole swathe of young people.

Interesting.

I'll let the Court decide based on the evidence they have.
Well I dont have all the evidence in front of me so I cant really make a call on it. I am pretty sure anyone who does have all the evidence should not be posting it on here.

We must all let Justice run it's course. Then debate the heck out of it!

It's a little tricky to 'put the morals of the guy to one side' - since it is those morals, or rather total absence of them, that have landed him in court in the first place.

//I just do not see this as rape. //

The police and Public Prosecutor would disagree with you on that one - what do you see it as?

// Tawdry yes, immoral maybe, but needing to go to prison for years and years - no way. //

How can it be '...immoral maybe ... ' when we are 'putting the morals of the guy to one side'.

You need to work out what you want to say, and then say it - that will avoid you contradicting yourself part way through.

//..The slightest nuance can persuade the jury either way - and even then, juries are sometimes known to go on a frolick of their own. I know of one jury where a group of women refused to convict the Def of rape because he looked like the son of one of them!!!! ..//

Quite right - look at the jury in '12 angry men '
