Its terrible that these kinds of crimes don't get much greater publicity. Although I don't think that the case of Tanveer Ahmed is a good example, as that received widespread traction online.
I think that there is another issue at hand here. There are people who use these attacks 'to show sympathy' with the victims, but what they're really doing is dressing up their bigotry with a cloak of concern.
Same as certain people who claim to worry about knife and gun crime amongst young black men, where what they are really doing is using it as a fake platform to spew forth.

And what platform were you spewing forth from, when in your feeble attempt to try and cover up the increasingly black on black shootings and stabbings, you chose to equalise them with a white mother killing her baby.
Here is another one, but the story is a bit one-sided. Muslims can march, block roads praying, shouting we want Shari Law etc, but a few T-Shirts upsets everybody.
