Hello guys

I am finally on my way to losing some weight yay! Problem is now I am worried about saggy skin, I must point out that at this point I do not have any at the moment but I need to lose at least 3 stone and am worried after that I will end up with saggy skin and droopy boobs! The saving grace if you can call it that is that I am only in my twenties so I do have youth on my side.

Basically I would really be grateful for some encouraging words from people who have lost a decent amount of weight and not ended up all saggy and droopy, does it happen to everyone? Unfortunately we cannot all afford tummy tucks like you see in the magazines!

What's your advice?

Thanks in advance x

Hello rach, I'm in the same position as yourself in that I need to lose about three stone and I'm now making positive steps towards my goal.

From what I've heard on here and other places if you lose the weight slowly and surely in conjunction with exercise that should help avoid the sagging.I've also been using firming moisturisers to try to keep my skin's elasticity.

Time will tell if all this works but I just keep reminding myself of all the health and lifestyle benefits i'll gain from losing weight. Even if I am left with a bit of loose skinit can only be better than the many diseases that being overweight can contribute to.

Good luck with it all. Take care.X

Me too, sad but true!! My friend had a tummy tuck and she went to Belgium to have it done- it was MUCH cheaper than getting it donw here and she is very pleased with the result, after 2 caesarians!
In my younger twenties I lost 3 stone and never noticed saggy skin as a reuslt, Iwas always using firming gel from botanics, but I wouldn't like to say that was the reason why. I think as you've already sussed, if the weight comes off slowly you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Good luck x (I put two stone back on, but I'm trying to get rid again!)
