Does anyone know of a really good 5 * restaurant in Eastbourne (not the Mirabelle, its full) that we can visit next saturday?

Not exactly a 5* restaurant but the Yew tree pub at Arlington is top notch.

Booking is essential as it's so popular

Another nice restaurant, although we haven't been there for a while is Grimaldi's in East Dean, which is in a lovely setting overlooking the village green. There's a car park nearby located adjacent to a field & the Village Hall on Birling Gap Road (turn left at the bottom of the hill as you're coming away from Eastbourne). It's not very big so you will need to book.
