I have a tuna steak that I defrosted and don`t now fancy. If I cooked it and froze it, would it be OK? I know that would be OK hygiene wise but I just wondered if it would be revolting when defrosted?

Frozen is never the same as freshly cooked, but I think ti would be OK.
Never done it, though.....
If you are going to mush it up with mayo and chili (sounds great to me) then I am sure it will be OK.
I think it is texture that suffers from freezing more than flavour.
