KFC merely provided the venue - they were not responsible for organising the eating contest so bear no responsibility for contestant choking to death.

Hmmm, so that's all right then.

I hate 'eating contests' that's all I have to offer on this topic.
Nepal provides the "venue" for climbing Mount Everest. Should Nepal be responsible for the deaths of individuals attempting to climb it?
This 'news item' is from West Jakarta, Indonesia.
Frankly, I cannot get angry about it. Some idiot from the other side of the world kills himself out of his own stupidity.
So what?
It doesn't matter who organised it, or any other eating contest for that matter, the participant is responsible for cramming the food down their throat. Even an idiot would know that cramming as much food in your mouth is idiotic at the best of times but chicken wings have small bones to boot.

As an aside I have had a gastric bypass and I can eat three chicken wings in five minutes. That isn't much of a contest!!! Admittedly I couldn't get anything else in but those three wings would be a doddle lol

OP appears to operate a vendetta against 'big business'. Most stories arising are rubbish; this is merely the latest example.

Do hope he doesn't expect to receive a decent payout from a pension plan - without business activity there would be no pensions in our old age.
"Organisers O2 Accion.." happy to help.
How on earth could it be KFC's fault ??!
He kicked the bargain bucket.
