It was good but of course the story line was diluted to suit the BBC's political agenda. ie the Muslim terrorists were planning on killing fellow Muslims, not heaven forbid, westerners.
I always enjoy this programme, but cant help thinking would the forensic people get so involved with the detectives at the chasing, arresting, stages of the criminals etc.
Very lazy ending I thought. What are the chances of a high ranking polis ordering a surrendering mother of a young child to be shot between the eyes on live TV?
I'm sure someone on here who's a professed expert in the field has an answer. :-)
Also, she was asked how tall she was and she said '1.65m'. Who the hell says that? The vast majority of people in the UK would have said five foot five. Another BBC obsession, every measurement must always be metric.
Also far fetched was the part where they found soft sand in the footprints by the burnt out car, and traced it to a company working on the place where the couple were hiding.
