Surely it's better to let him make a fool of himself, what are the MPs afraid of?

Why ban someone that tells the truth? a lot know it, a lot are frightened to say it because it may offend the basds that keep trying to blow us up, at least the bloke has got the *** to open his mouth.
Plenty of people have the balls to say what they think. It doesn't make them right though.
Q.M. Thanks, that's news to me. I think they are more concerned that the name has been changed to 'Trump Turnberry', than his views - I should think there are some strange views held by the members anyway :0) - maybe they will sort it out before the planned 2020 fixture, I hope so.
Mr Trump would only want to come to Scotland to see how his golf course is going and maybe a stop off in london to buy up a few mosques and turn them into churches :))
Khandro, the link-material does specifically say, "Turnberry can no longer host the Open Championship because of Trump's increasingly toxic reputation."
I don't really think the name-change in and of itself matters nearly as much as the reputation of the course's owner.
reasons to ban Trump. Terrible syrup for a kick off.
Oh well. For the sake of the PC brigade it looks like Scotland might be £700 million the losers :-(

He has threatened to leave only if he is barred from entering the UK and that just isn't going to happen. However, if it did, £700m, would be cheap at the price to see the back of this mega needle-pain with his tail between his legs as he boards his plane to fly out of Scotland.
It seems to me there is rather a lot of 'virtue signalling' going on around this subject.
Here in Germany, the reports of hundreds of sexual assaults on young women continue - in spite of the reluctance of the media to report it by men from Muslim countries.

Sunnis are fighting with Shias, and the crime rate is rising dramatically. A neighbour's daughter is a policewoman with responsibility for one of the places where immigrants are settled. The stories are horrendous; a man shi**ing in a corridor because he refused to "use the same w.c. as Christians".
There is about a 5p deposit on plastic bottles here, and some have been pouring away the water they have been given at taxpayers expense in order to collect the deposits from the supermarkets. The list continues.

Trump is a bright guy and knows what is going on, and he simply says, "If you want it, you can have it, but we don't want it here". and a lot of people, including me, agree with him.

Khandro, you do realise this is the UK, they have no backbone, never have, never will whilst we have Idiots, H.R. & a good for nothing Government that does more U Turns like a fish.
