Anyone else agree that last nights Eastenders was far too violent to be shown so early in the evening? I was at my sons house and my 3 grand-kids were actually scared of what happened.

Wouldn't think so as they have just brought in a new child actor to play him.
Ummmm- I did too, loved the interaction between him and Dot.
I bump into EE occasionally as I wait for a programme to begin shortly after it - I'm not sure it's really a family sit down to watch type programme with young children.

Watersheds are one thing but ultimately, we the grown ups should choose what is suitable depending on the people viewing.

not that alone ummm
Well I've just watched it and didn't think it was that bad.

TTT...make your meaning clear!
Not playing the game to turn a query about a TV show into a set of cloaked personal jibes.
^^ oh go on mamy that fence is giving you a big red mark on your bum (so I've been told) ;-)
Yawnnnnnnnnnn!!!
Loses it's impact after, errrr, a day!!
Oh trust me, I know you've been told - it's the most tedious joke on here this season.

Considering all the cracker jokes there must have been in abundance.
Agree with ummmm! Watched it from day one....it's my only soap, so will continue.
It has some tough scenes but nothing we don't see on the television nowadays.
If that's the reason Fatboy was dismissed why hasn't Steve Mcfadden been sacked as it is well documented that he likes "dogging"!
Would not liked to have watched last night's episode with my grand kids!its getting worse.
I'm with TTT on this one - I just can't understand why otherwise intelligent folk watch such utter utter rubbish.
Is it reaIIy any different to peopIe reading Bronte noveIs back in the day?
I thought that the scene where Shirley tried to drown Dean was awful. Shouldn't have been shown before the watershed IMO.
