Every minute or so it freezes then says a problem occurred with this page and has to be reloaded.
I go on settings and usually there is a software trying to update. I knock it off and reload Internet. I got so frustrated tonight I decided to see what software wanted to load. I clicked on it and it said it is not compatible with iPad.
Why then is it trying to load it.
Is there anything I can do to stop any software updates.

My computer is as bad Caran, it's very old (2004) and hardly any memory left!
Go to Settings, then iTunes & App store and from there turn off automatica downloads and updates.
Automatic app updates are off by default in iOS.

If this is happening when you are using the internet, the problem is the browser and the website you are visiting. Trying downloading an adblocker.
