His passing last week seems to have gone unremarked here in AB. I liked him in The Time Machine. His casting as Sean O'Casey, the playwright, in Young Cassidy was a bit incongruous. Someone of the build of Woody Allen would have been nearer the mark.

I always associate him with The Time Machine . It was shown again quite recently on TV
He was 'included' in another RIP, sandy. Possibly, Lance Percival.

Very sad. The Time Machine made a big impression on me as a child.

I didn't know about Lance Percival. I was only thinking about him the other day when I saw that Carry On Cruising was on. It's awful when all the stars you knew from being young start to go.
