Sunday. Too wet n' windy for walkies this morning. Still not seen foxy, but tiggy was in a little while ago.

It's stopped raining for a while, but I'm staying in. More rain expected, probably just as I'm going out shoplifting. I'm meeting a friend for coffee then. I'm looking forward to that.

Very heavy rain here. Still waiting for the gales to arrive. The breeze is just starting up. I can see my willow tree bending around.
I'll be there asap for a slab of cake. Any custard with it?

Steamed sponge puds and custard... mmmmm. Is there a better pud for horrible weather like this? Lovely comfort food.
I was supposed to be going walkies into the South Downs and taking a picnic but that's had to be cancelled so we'll now meet up at a local Indian restaurant and have a curry and a beer or three instead.

Good morning everyone - the rain hasn't arrived here yet (East Yorkshire) but it's forecast to be heavy. I'm planning breakfast at the local pub before it arrives. Porridge with demerara sugar probably.

Thanks for the welcome murraymints - actually I'm thinking of stirring in some Bailey's, I think there's a coffee flavour, but is it a tad early for alcohol?... ;-)
