Its pouring, thunder and lightening and I love it!

hoping for the big black cloud thats hanging over the wolds at the moment, to come over to me in the fens, and give a lightening display. I really love lightening, actually saw a lightening flash during a snow storm, the whole sky full of snow in front of us turned electric blue, really dazzling. magic stuff.

Sounds lovely where you are percy. I really love a good ole storm and watch it through the conservatory windows. I'm hoping some of the frogs jump out the pond now, they normally do, they seem to love the rain x

pusskin, I have a caravan in the garden which is my den/office, and the noise of rain on the roof is like thunder sometimes, and you are right about the frogs, we had a day of rain last summer, and thousand upon thousand of baby toads came out of the river across the road and all headed for everyones gardens. there were, without any doubt, many thousands. they were falling down drain holes, jumping up steps ( or trying to) and we could not walk outside the house for several days without shooing them away. wonderful stuff.

I also love a good storm. Love watching it at night, the brighter and louder the better. We have had torrential rain today and HAILSTONES.

Just been in the garden and the sky is a really dramatic orange and purple in the west, with dark clouds everywhere else. Definitely a thunderstorm brewing. Bring it on.

I really love all this wildlife stuff including the big storms too.
Here I am all huddled up really warm in jamas and got outside lights on hoping frogs will appear, and feeling sad that the storm has finally passed over.
The sky is still so black so there may be more to come yet. yippee, I hope so x

just started hammering down here, sky as black as ink, won't see the space station tonight, yet they forecast a frost! and, I might just add, we now have a hosepipe ban as of two days ago, and it's rained ever since.

Wondered why grandaughter rushed inside - usually have to practically drag her in at night. But hey, some thunder and a few flashes of lightning did the job for me.
