What as happened to Blackpool ?

Hi I went to Blackpool for a few days two weeks ago and i can't believe how many holiday shops have closed down i know thing's change but everythings going , What happened to the Winter Gardens that used to be one of the main entertainment places it was closed . You even have to pay a fiver just to walk around the pleasure beach where's my old reliable Blackpool gone ? lol

As far as I'm aware the Winter Gardens are still open. Maybe there were no acts booked for the night you were there. Have a look here
