Hi I am going to australia in 2 wks time some one told me about a bank called westpac any one know of this bank. I am going to Brisbane i am a plumber looking work ,any one know any thing about this

You can't work in Oz unless you're either under 31 and travelling on a working holiday visa

Thanks we are all just over 20 hope to get plumbing jobs
As Chris said you will need a visa to work in Australia. In addition to a visa you will also need plumbing credentials to take employment from plumbing companies. Australia is quite strict when it comes to tradesmen having the correct certifications etc. How does Westpac relate to your work as a plumber?
When I was in Oz I used Westpac as my bank. Be warned though all banks in Oz have add on charges like for taking money out of an ATM or having paper statements.
My advice is to ask people on http://www.gapyear.com.
Also they charge $5 a month if you have under a certain amount in your account which didn't make any sense to me, I can't remember the amount now though think it was $1000!
