taxi or a bus is going to cost me a lot of money i need to get from northampton to gatwick which is 110 miles. I have looked at the train but that is going to 3 changes with the suitcases, and cost me £80 when i could drive and park for £95. if any has any suggestions on where i can PARK near Gatwick for less than £95 please let me know :)

Sorry to contradict you but National Express bus from Northampton to Gatwick runs every 2 hours (less frequently overnight) and for the dates you quote the standard RETURN cost is £35.
Luggage no problem, it stows in the coach's boot. Light refreshments are usually available on board, PLUS you don't need to worry about having a drink on the return flight!
Take a look at www.nationalexpress.com

for the dates you quote the return train fare is £36-20 with only 1 change, at Watford Junction. journey time just over 2hr.

You would probably have to change at Victoria for a Gatwick Express using Nat Express but still a lot cheaper and less hassle than driving in

the cheapest parking I was able to find was via the "park at my house" website, http://www.parkatmyhouse.com/ where it can cost as little as £5 a day in the Gatwick area. However, there's no availabilty at that price for early June.

thanks for all your answers. think i am just going to bite the bullet and pay the parking, if i do coach it going to be 70 odd quid for the both of us and for the extra 20 i could just get in my car and go without having to wait for anything ie coaches or trains or linking transport. thanks again for your help though

some hotels nearby offer free parking if you book and stay the night before you fly, it might be worth looking into.
