Its within walking distance of Manchester Piccadilly but you can get the metrolink between the two.

yes either picadilly or victoria .it is about the same distance between the two stations and the arndale.

Victoria is physically closer, but most trains go to Piccadilly anyway.
There is a free bus linking both stations, which you can get on and off in between.
