I doubt if there is such a law,if there is,than a great majority of bus stations wll be breaking it. Perhaps your local passenger transport authority can shed light on your query
All I could find regarding buses is the requirement of the driver to only reverse when necessary and make sure the reversing 'bleep' is activated.
As others have suggested, there's no such law.

Many bus stations, e.g. Ipswich, have bays which buses have to reverse from. Bus drivers are specifically instructed not to allow passengers to board after they've reversed back from the bay. (i.e. passengers must board prior to reversing).
