get them to help pack and unpack and label boxes, you could also get them to write down in a jotter what is in each box ie checklist.

send them 'on holiday' to grandparents/aunts,uncles/family friend....anyone who doesn't mind hosting a couple of lively children for a week or two.................. Oh and don't ask first because that will give them time to think up an excuse..............
