Tiggy is still patrolling his domain, rootling about all over the garden.

Afternoon oz. The sun is about to climb over the hilltop in front of me. Just the odd lost whisp of cloud looking for it's mum.

How are you mate?

All good here thanks Boaty. Very frosty start yesterday, then a nice day. This morning, no frost, lovely day with lonesome clouds scudding across, quite decent, managed to hit 20c. No complaints at all.
Any signs of Tiggy finding a lady friend yet?

I think he might have had a wee canoodle a couple of weeks ago, but she didn't move in. that's not uncommon, so I probably won't see the result.

Why do you think that Boaty? Did he come home grinning like a Cheshire cat?

If you fire up your bbq what do you plan to sear on it?

there were three in the garden, tiggy and another male and a female watching them fight over her. Typical woman! I went out and the other bloke scuttled off a bit sharpish. The female stayed where she was and I left them to it. The other male was a lot bigger than tiggy, so I thought it a good idea to go to his aid.

To continue. If I flash up the barbie I have a choice of pork steaks in a Caribbean sauce, There's some fillet steak and something or other. I'll have a look. Probably the pork steak, I've got six of them, very nice they are too. With that I shall boil some potatoes, unpeeled, let them go cold, slice them and barbie them. I have a gas barbie with a hotplate as well as a grid, so can do eggs on it too.

Sounds like the tucker bag will be awesome today. I took some pork scotch fillet steaks out from the shed freezer earlier, only to be told by Mrs Oz that she had pulled out some chicken breast earlier from the freezer in the kitchen. Chicken tonight, pork another day.

I like pork. it's from within Gloucestershire, as is all the meat at my butchers. He's been voted the best butcher in the country. :o}

Morning all. Lovely up here(N Wales). Cool though. The squirrels are stripping the Hazelnut Trees early. Sign of early Autumn and long winter methinks. Tidy up the garden after all that rain, then roast chicken lunch.

Morning Togo, hope you are well. It's been a nice winters day "down under".

We are lucky enough to have a new butcher in town these days Boaty. A young fella who is also a highly qualified chef. He is making some beautiful cuts of meat with a variety of seasonings for us all. If it wasn't for the fact he married a local girl who wished to come back home he would never have been here.

Yes, I dread the god awful barbies being fired up today. Vile things. There's no better way to ruin perfectly good food than to set fire to it. The smell of barbies is really awful. All those chemicals (34) being released in the ozone.

:o} He's a two minuet walk from here, and he's a mate. ;o} He supplies most of the hotels and restaurants in the area. Customers come from far and wide, he can deliver too! He's a good friend to have.
