Good Morning Early Birds!

Monday. heavy overcast again. The middle of June and the heating is still on. Ridiculous innit.

Tiggy didn't venture far last night, so he must be feeling a bit chilly too. He came out of Tiggy Towers, scoffed his supper and went back to bed. Ten minutes later he was soundo. Can't say I blame him.

I must go over to Wotton-under-Edge today, to my favourite organic shop, the I'll go and have a cuppa with friends. They have a daughter who is profoundly deaf, is stunningly beautiful and has just passed her driving test. She's a lovely girl and is training to be a radiographer. She doesn't let being deaf stop her!

good morning waterboatman and elina,brrr...got my big woolie cardi'on,going to the hairdressers at 12.30 and hope to do some gardening,take the dog up park as well.thats my day planned.

Morning Lina. xxx It's a wee market town under the edge of the Cotswold Escarpment. hence the name. The main street is a narrow one way street. There are four bakeries, and all do a roaring trade. Lots of little shops shops selling almost anything you can think of. It has a fine auction house that has featured on TV several times. One of the oldest electric picture houses in the country and some very good hostelries. You can find it on Google if you want to have a look.
I'm going to my favourite organic shop for some local honey and bits and pieces I'm running short of and a good natter with the ladies that run it.

Sounds fantastic waterman! I have a memory of my nanna giving me 'set' honey on a wedge of bread when I was young.

I prefer the runny honey, I sometimes use it when I make bread or a cake.
