Try with coloured envelopes, Lidl often have offers and they are not expensive.

Good luck for the future!!

Use a postcard rather than an envelope
Use as large an envelope/card as possible (so long as it won't be classed a s a large letter for postal costs)
Make the envelope/card as brightly coloured as possible.
Make the envelope.card feel unusual to touch

Send in either early or last minute. The entry will either be nearer the top or bottom of the pile depending on if/how they tip them out- that's probably better than being right in the middle.
Enter online instead if possible

play online, all the paper ones go straight into the recycling.
Torah - they don't, I have won many lovely prizes with picture postcards & bright envelopes.
Make sure that the address on the envelope is printed EXACTLY as it says on the competition entry form, no variations.
With the price of stamps these days is it worth it?

I just go for internet entries.
Invest in lucky white heather
make sure you put a stamp on it
like you i send a lot of competitions off but how do they pick winners when you can phone and go on line too?
Every entry received, however made, is allocated a unique number - the computer then picks at random. Apparently.
