That's number one on the list so far would be great to watch the ball drop and enjoy the times square buzz, daft question but I assume there's a load to do after? Any ideas?
We were there 4 years ago for new year. We bought passes meaning after the ball dropped we could go into most of the restaurants and bars around Times Square. There are usually parties all over the place that you can buy tickets for if you can't get to Times Square.
Thanks guys sounds like all of my research is leading to this destination! Last piece of help I could do with and this may just be totally out of the question... Is there anywhere reasonably priced to stay around that time say.. 30th & 31st fly home on the 1st so just for 2 nights?
Paris is a wonderful place to visit for New Year - went in 2003/04. The hotel chain Campanile is very reasonably priced. Our hotel was extremely comfortable.
Well I have a free flight for my and my friend due to my mother working in the airlines so would probably go long hall to make it worth it. I did think Vegas as hotel prices look cheap?
