A very quick look at the Ryanair website suggests that they only allow booking of flights up to a maximum of 5 months in advance.
My understanding of the airline industry is that most scheduled airlines are given their departure/arrival slots 13 months in advance – with travel agents having first dibs, and at 12 months out, these are then available to the general public.
It might be that Ryanair are offered a discount by the airports, in taking later available/issued slots - with their business model supporting such an arrangement.
If you keep checking available flights to your chosen destination on a weekly basis – it is unlikely that you will not be able to book seats on your chosen flight.
